Hello all!  This is my very first post on my bloggity blog.  I’m going to keep it short and simple.  This past Saturday I participated in Monsters Ball at Chief Ike’s Mambo Room in Washington DC, a Halloween themed burlesque show unlike any I’ve ever been in or seen before.  Put together by the fantastic Indiana’s Jewels with prosthetic makeup done by Joe Largess!  I was also joined by the lovely cast of Cherie Sweetbottom, Reverend Valentine, Candy Del Rio, Anna Steasya, stage kitten Lotta Sparxx and our fab host Buster Britches (all on facebook).  I debuted my new act “Down In Mexico” which went over well considering at least three people were singing along to the Coasters classic of the same name.  Here are a few pictures from the night snagged by my lovely boyfriend and photographer S n’ M Productions!

This coming weekend I will be trading my garters and fringe for spandex and super hero weapons as I gear up for my second New York Comic-Con!  Last year I was a bit overwhelmed with the size coupled with it being my first year there, but I think I’m ready for this one.  There are a few panels and guests I want to meet (maybe I can FINALLY get my Norman Reedus meeting redemption), but I’m most excited for the cosplayers :).  My own cosplay list is above.  I hope to see some of you there!  Until then, obsessive packing awaits @____@
